- Project Name: Groundwater exploration using ERT (Electrical Resistivity Tomography) survey, covering the geology, hydrogeology, and the main characteristics of the expected aquifers of the study region, and Assessment of the existing water well at the company's location & identifying the causes of fluctuating water volume.
- Project Owner: Teeba for Developed Food (one of Almarai Group).
- Project Contractor: : Sumer for Geological and Hydrogeological Consultation.
- Project Consultant: Sumer for Geological and Hydrogeological Consultation.
- Location: Al-Dlail area, Al Mafraq Governorate.
- Scope Of Work:
Conduct 1000-meter profile of 2D ERT (Electrical Resistivity Tomography) geophysical survey:
- Conduct a comprehensive geological study to thoroughly analyze and identify the geological column, successive lithological formations, and the hydrogeological characteristics of the aquifer system.
- Prepare a pilot survey to assess water availability within the primary aquifer systems at the project site.
- The survey will cover key aspects, including: Identification of the main aquifer zones, Assessment of productivity status. Evaluation of the general characteristics of the water.
- Removing the pump, reinstalling it in the well, and conducting an inspection to assess its general condition. Should there be a need for spare parts or additional maintenance for the pump, a new quotation will be provided accordingly.
Assessment of the existing water well at the company's location & identifying the causes of fluctuating water volume.
- Remove the submersible pump, perform the required maintenance and reinstall it in the well after conducting the CCTV log.
- Conduct a CCTV inspection which allowed us to precisely determine the depths of the cased section, openhole section, static water level and have a clear view of the slotted casing pattern and its distribution.
